A glamour-forward new build that mixes traditional detailing with bold gestures — modern, classic, and totally client-driven.

This luxury transitional home was a new build from the ground up, designed to reflect the clients’ style — bold, well-traveled, and effortlessly chic. They weren’t afraid of glamour, and they didn’t want to play it safe. So we gave them interiors that felt just like them: classic with a twist.

The bones are traditional — wainscotting, a proper entry, even a formal fireplace surrounded in French marble. But the rest of the house pushes forward: steel partitions along the second-floor hall, a sculptural staircase, edgy modern lighting, and a real sense of scale.

We mixed tailored pieces with relaxed layers, soft colour with graphic lines. Everything feels cohesive, but nothing feels expected. This project lives right at the intersection of classic and contemporary — not trying too hard in either direction.
